A female Irish Leprechaun, a small and mischievous lass known for her sense of humor and pranks. Her name is “Aoife” (ee-fa) meaning “Beautiful, radiant or joyful”. She represents your host Chabee. Our second mascot, “Tom” the cat, represents both your other host Greg, and the relaxing time we hope you enjoy.
“Shenanigans” is a camping, glamping, backpackers, budget and luxury house resort located on the sandy beach of the beautiful village Zamboanguita, (just south of Dumaguete on Negros Oriental). The flight to Cebu is less than 30 minutes, while the flight to Manila is just under one hour. At Shenanigans there is a level of accommodation for everyone, from the most budget conscious, to those who want to spoil themselves. There is a welcoming atmosphere, and an experience that is sure to be unique for Filipinos of all backgrounds. We welcome backpackers, internationals, locals, city dwellers and event organizers.
Over the coming year we intend to create a place where people from all walks of life, and countries, can come together in one place with local families and groups, to enjoy a relaxed and fun environment. By providing lots of accommodation options in a range of prices, as well as providing many activities, and by welcoming day visitors and events, we want to be a “busy” place catering to people who like other people, even those different to themselves. We think the world can do with a little more love and friendship and fun.
Our Resort owner Chabee is a typical Filipina with a big beautiful smile. Together with her Australian husband Greg, they lead a team of 15 staff who were selected for their warm and friendly natures. Chabee is one of those people that lights up a room when she enters. She loves people, and just as important, people love her. Chabee is a great friend to many people, loves socializing, and is an excellent host. Greg likes to create things, and most of the physical aspects of the resort are of his vision.
